A European street football league will be organized for the first time in history

A historic movement in street culture will be kicked off by 11 largest street football movements in Europe, which in 2020 will organize the first international street football tournaments in some of the biggest European cities. In the upcoming year, the open street football “Ghetto Football Euro League 2020” tournaments will take place from March till the end of April and one at a time will be held in Barcelona, Milan, Prague, Budapest, Brussels, Berlin, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Copenhagen and Dakovo. First tournament is set to take place on 21.03.2020 in Barcelona and the final tournament - 13.05.2020 in Riga.

The main goal of the project “Ghetto Football Euro League 2020 - European Street Football movement for promotion of street sports and social inclusion/MOVE-Ball” is social inclusion of different community groups through sports, by establishing a street football movement in Europe. To attain a successful cooperation between countries, as well as to communicate and inform everyone about the tournaments, an internet platform will be created specially for this international street football project.

The 3v3 tournaments organized by each city are open and teams of any nationality can participate. The project creators will cover the costs of four trips for each country, to previously selected European cities (For 3 men's teams and 1 women's. 24 teams will participate in the finals in Riga: 10 winning teams of each country, 12 teams based on tournament rankings and 2 teams from Latvia.
