Ghetto Football 3v3 Tournament Set for Almere on May 30, 2025

Almere will host a major street football 3v3 tournament on May 30, 2025, bringing together the energy of urban sports and the passion of local communities. Organized in collaboration with Panna Knock Out, Urban Sports Games, and the City of Almere, the event promises a full day of dynamic competition, skill, and celebration of street football culture.

The tournament is open to teams in five categories: U12, U14, U16, 17+, and Lady. Each team can register up to four players, with no goalkeepers, and participation is free of charge. The competition will begin with round-robin group stages, followed by intense playoff rounds. The top three teams in each group will receive prizes, with the best team in the 17+ category earning a paid trip to the renowned Ghetto Games Festival (GGFEST 2025) in Ventspils, Latvia, to compete internationally.

Schedule Highlights

  • 13:00 – Registration opens for youth groups (U12, U14, U16)
  • 14:00–19:00 – Youth group matches
  • 16:00 – Registration for 17+ and Lady groups
  • 17:00 – Official opening ceremony
  • 17:10 – First games for 17+ and Lady groups; youth playoffs and finals
  • 18:00 – Awards ceremony for youth groups
  • 19:30 – Playoff games for 17+ and Lady groups
  • 21:00 – Tournament final
  • 21:10 – Awards ceremony
