Ghetto Games Returns to Tallinn Bigger and Better Than Ever

Tallinn, Estonia – 18th May 2024 – Get ready for street sports action and energetic cultural vibes as the Ghetto Games gets back onto the scene as a part of Tallinn Day 2024, from 12.00 to 19.00. This year's edition will be held next to the Estonian Maritime Museum at the Seaplane Harbour. Offering a thrilling mix of street sports competitions, entertaining performances, and engaging activities for all ages.

 

The Ghetto Games is more than just a competition – it's a vibrant celebration of street culture that brings together athletes, dancers, artists, and spectators in a spirit of community and shared passion. This year's event features a dynamic lineup of events, including:

 

Competitions: Witness the best of the best battle it out in 3x3 street basketball, 3x3 street football, MMA fighting, street dance battles, and street workout championship.

Performances: Immerse yourself in the energy of live music, DJ sets, and captivating dance routines that will keep you moving all day long.

Fun for Everyone: Whether you're a seasoned athlete or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere, there's something for everyone at the Ghetto Games. Enjoy interactive games, skill contests, and Ghetto Shop filled with unique finds.

 

The “Ghetto Football program will begin with games in the U12, U14, U16, U16, U19, 20+ groups. After thatPanna 1 on 1 tournament will take place – the goal of the “Panna” game is to play 1 on 1 to knock the ball from the opponent between the legs or score as many goals as possible.


Ghetto Basketcompetitions will be organised in 6 different groups (U12, U14, U16, U18, Open) and Nordic Cup for PRO players, where teams will compete not only for prizes, but also for points in the Ghetto Basket rating and FIBA 3x3 rating. The best Nordic Cup teams will qualify to the season finals. Anyone can register to participate, regardless of age and experience. We also want to remind that it was the players from original “Ghetto Basket” tournaments who became the first ever gold medal owners in the history at the Olympics.

 

In the “Ghetto Dance” there will be competitions for amateurs (OPEN category) and professionals – VIP battle.

 

 

The “Ghetto Fight” international MMA competitions will be held in 15 fights. The strongest Baltic fighters will fight for the Ghetto Fight champion title in various weight categories.

 

The 3x3 street floorball tournament "Ghetto Floorball" will take place in the U12, U14, U16, U19, 20+ and Lady categories, where athletes will compete for the main prize of the season.
