The highly anticipated Ghetto Football Euroleague 2025 is set to kick off this autumn, starting with tournaments in Hamburg and Eindhoven. These events will mark the beginning of a legendary series of 3v3 street football competitions across Europe, where top players will compete for a coveted spot in the Euroleague Finals in Latvia in 2025.
About Ghetto Football Euroleague
The Ghetto Football Euroleague is a established series of 3v3 street football tournaments designed to bring the energy of street football and culture to cities across Europe. Played on 15x10m pitches with boardings, Ghetto Football welcomes participants of all ages and backgrounds. The Euroleague's mission is to find the best street football players in Europe while promoting the spirit of urban football culture. Although local tournaments open to everyone, only the top 3 teams from each tournament earn a place in the prestigious Euroleague Finals, where the best of the best will compete for European Champion Title.
Kick-Off Events: Hamburg and Eindhoven
Hamburg will be the first city to host a Euroleague 2025 tournament on September 7th at Inselpark during the Hamburg Active City Festival. A Brief History of Ghetto Football Euroleague
Founded in 2011, Ghetto Football has grown into a significant movement, promoting street football across the globe. Although the first Euroleague was planned for 2020, it was delayed until 2022 due to COVID-19 restrictions. Since then, the Euroleague has crowned champions such as Amsterdam Players' Home from the Netherlands in 2022 and Copenhagen Pannahouse from Denmark in 2024. All Euroleague Finals, including the upcoming 2025 edition, take place in Latvia, where the best teams battle for the title of European street football champions.
Continuing the Journey in 2025
After this autumn's kick-off events, the Ghetto Football Euroleague 2025 will continue its journey across Europe starting in April 2025. The competition will bring 3v3 street football to more European cities, offering additional opportunities for teams to qualify for the Euroleague Finals. Details on the cities and dates for the spring tournaments will be announced later this autumn, as the Euroleague seeks to expand its reach and engage more street football enthusiasts across the continent.
